Mastering the Swing Feel (PRE-ORDER)

Swing is one of the most important aspects of jazz drumming — and one of the least clearly explained. Most drummers practice vocabulary and coordination, but their ride cymbal beat and time feel never fully settle.

This course focuses directly on the core elements that create convincing swing time.

Across 9 modules and 30+ lessons, you'll develop:

• A strong ride cymbal beat with natural phrasing
• Solid hi-hat time and foot independence
• Better coordination between ride, hi-hat, and comping voices
• A stronger internal pulse at slow, medium, and fast tempos
• A clear understanding of swing subdivision and placement

The course concludes with lessons featuring a live bass player — showing how these concepts work inside a real rhythm section.
