Bebop Comping Flow is a progressive practice handout designed to help jazz drummers develop more natural, flowing comping vocabulary. The exercises move from simple offbeat ideas to longer phrases and finally to applying the concepts within the bebop standard “Oleo.”
This handout is for beginner through advanced jazz drummers who understand basic jazz time but want their comping to sound less stiff, mechanical, or disconnected from the music.
